Weekly Art Classes Are Back

Our weekly art classes started back this week, and it was wonderful to welcome our regular students back and meet some new faces too! It’s always lovely to see the creativity and enthusiasm in the Studio.

Drawing is the main theme this term, and we kicked things off with a fun desert-inspired project. Students were encouraged to sketch out their ideas and imagine exactly what they would like to have in their desert.

There were plenty of creative ideas, from landscapes and plants to desert wildlife. The thorny devil reptile proved particularly popular!

To add another layer to their designs, students also had to decide which continent their desert was located on, giving them the opportunity to think about how different deserts can look and what wildlife and landscapes they might find there.

It was a fantastic start to the term, and we can’t wait to see where their drawings take us next.
