Winter Olympic Project in the Studio
We’re back in the studio, and this week marks the exciting beginning of our Winter Olympic project. This extensive A2 project promises to be a dynamic and engaging experience for all ages involved, as it will incorporate a variety of artistic techniques, including drawing, painting in different mediums, and collage. The aim of this project is not only to foster creativity but also to serve as a vibrant celebration of movement and the exhilarating adventures that come with winter sports. To kick off this ambitious project, we have focused our efforts on part one, which entails creating the background for our artwork. This background will feature a portrayal of snowy and icy slopes. Additionally, we will include an ice rink, which is a central element of many Winter Olympic events. In this initial phase, the children are encouraged to unleash their imaginations by designing their own unique sky. This aspect of the project allows for personal expression, as each child can choose colours, patterns, and elements that resonate with their vision of a winter landscape. As we progress through this project, we will explore various artistic mediums, allowing the children to experiment with different techniques. By the end of this project, we hope to have a stunning artworks that captures the essence of winter sports and the joy of artistic expression.
