Today is the 1st of May and the beginning of a new adventure for Ballymore Eustace Art Studio - the start of our online art workshops and classes, well designing them anyway.
It was a big decision the change the name of the studio, from Ballymore Hearts & Crafts to Ballymore Eustace Art Studio. The original name came about as I use to make and sell wooden hearts with sentiments and personal messages. When I started to teach art to children there was no name, no studio, just a kitchen table. After a couple of years I move to the Resource Centre in Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare - ran the classes from there for almost a year.
It was a beautiful summer that year and I decided to run an Art Summer Camp for Children, in my garden. It was such a huge success that the idea of opening an art studio on the premises was born and my husbands man cave was gone.
